I am fully bilingual in French and English with a BA French and Business Management degree from the University of Manchester. I have French and English teaching experience and in-depth cultural knowledge of France.
Visiting my family in France on a regular basis has helped me to maintain my fluency in spoken French. I worked as an English Language Assistant in France for 1 year where i prepared and carried out oral and grammar lessons in French schools. During this time I also worked as an English language tutor for secondary school children. Having studied the language at a degree level and having worked in France on two separate occasions has helped me to acquire an advanced level of French, which I enjoy passing on to others.
I achieved an A* in A Level and GCSE French (taken a year early) and a distinction in my French Oral examination at degree level.
In 2012 i worked as an English Language Assistant in France for 1 year. I prepared and carried out oral and grammar lessons in French schools and tailored my teaching techniques to different age groups, abilities and syllabus requirements. During this time I also worked as an English language tutor for secondary school children. I have also worked for an after school French club, where I assisted the teachers teaching French.
I adapt my teaching methods according to the preferences and needs of each student. I aim to cover all of the areas that the student would like to concentrate on. I am adaptable, friendly and patient.
