I am a qualified science teacher (Chemistry specialist). I have a first class Biochemistry degree and a Distinction MRes in Parasite control from Aberystwyth University. I also have a PGCE in chemistry.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience with both AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I am currently teaching all sciences at KS3 and Chemistry at GCSE and AS level, so I have deep subject knowledge and experience with exam technique.

Tutoring Approach

I am very enthusiastic about science and love teaching. I believe being approachable and energetic allows students to thrive in a comfortable learning environment. I ensure to make lessons fun and to find memorable ways to consolidate and secure knowledge whilst also adapting to individual needs. Although I have high expectations I am great at motivating students and bring the best out with my ‘can do’ attitude.
