I am a final year BSc Biology (with a year in industry) student at the University of York. I achieved a grade 8 in GCSE biology and a 7 in GCSE chemistry. My Alevel grades were ABC in music, biology and chemistry respectively. I also completed core maths in year 12 and secured a grade B. I am a friendly, confident individual who would like to help make a difference to students education

When I was in year 12, I supported GCSE biology and chemistry students in the run up to their exams.

Tutoring Approach

I like to have an initial conversation about how the student learns best and tailor my teaching style around that. I think the key to doing well in GCSE sciences is practising enough past papers and taking the time to look at the mark schemes.
