I'm a 20 year old student at the University of Bath studying Economics. I have studied maths throughout my entire education including A level and GCSE level therefore making me confident in the subject.
I have taught students locally for 2 years so far and i've found this extremely enjoyable as i'm very passionate for the subject. Furthermore i have helped out secondary classes at all levels for mathematics in my previous school therefore providing me experience for both private and group lessons.
My teaching approach includes me providing examples of questions with different methods on how to solve it and allowing my student to attempt to solve it. this would allow me to understand how they work and spot any mistakes, if they appear. I then provide various questions based on the struggling topic and help them when they need, also providing homework after the lesson in order to show me their progress and what they've learnt after my help i've provided them.
