Hello! My name is Charlie and I am an expert on maths exams. Having obtained the highest available grade in every mathematics qualification I have ever taken, (up to a master’s degree) I know precisely what is required to ace maths exams. I am very friendly and approachable and super passionate about passing my knowledge on to the next generation. I take real pride in seeing my students achieve their goals and will do everything possible to ensure it happens.

Tutoring Experience

I have significant tutoring experience at both GCSE and A-Level Maths. While I am not a professional teacher, through tutoring I have maintained a strong familiarity with most exam board's GCSE and A-Level exam specifications.

Tutoring Approach

I take an ‘exam-first’ approach to teaching which emphasises exam technique and building confidence with real test questions. While understanding the fundamentals is important, schools often fail to teach students how to convert their knowledge into marks. I make extensive use of exam board specs and past papers when planning lessons to ensure my teaching is optimised for the target exam and that no topic is missed or skipped.
