I am a patient and nurturing teacher who works hard to find the approach that works best for each student. I love my subject and try to bring that into my teaching. I have experience working with SEN students as well as carrying mixed ability classes through their GCSEs with proven results.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in a school for blind children providing one to one tuition. I currently work in a secondary school teaching KS3-KS5. I am also an examiner for AQA and as such have a wide understanding of the exam requirements.

Tutoring Approach

I take a holistic approach, trying to play to the strengths of the child in order to encourage them to work on their areas of weakness. I provide resources and feedback, with specific areas for improvement identified with strategies on how to tackle challenges.
