I’ve never met a learner who wanted to be unsuccessful.​

I’ve worked with learners of all ages who lacked confidence, struggled with learning disabilities, and learned differently than their peers. Yet never anyone who didn’t want to succeed on their learning journey.

                My mission is to help learners take their next steps.

​I’m an experienced and compassionate classroom teacher (Qualified Teacher Status), special needs educator, and Educational Therapist who is a tireless advocate for Learners who need differentiated and extra support.

​For over 30 years, in six countries, I’ve supported struggling learners to achieve success when helped to develop the ‘toolbox’ of strategies and support that fits their learning needs. I’ve worked with learners with specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia and dyscalculia, learning delays, communication disorders including Deaf/HH, ADD/ADHD, and executive skills issues- supporting them at each step.
I have the experience, commitment, and passion to help your child become the competent and confident learner that they desire to be.​

Tutoring Approach

Learning needs to be FUN and relevant! So our sessions will include games, songs, and activities directly connected to your child's needs. I understand that each child has a unique Learning Profile. My job as a teacher/tutor/ET is to identify your child's needs and help them understand how they learn best. My sessions provide the program they need to make progress, step by step. We work from a place of using strengths to support challenges. Each child will become independent with using their knowledge of their learning styles/profile. They will build a ‘tool box’ of strategies and skills that they will bring to challenging learning situations.
