I believe in stage not age and meet my learner at their current level in order to build confidence and accelerate their progress and understanding of both knowledge and strategy with numbers. All 1:1 tutor sessions are tailored to individual needs.
I specialise in short term Maths booster sessions for students aged 9 - 16 years, including for both 11+, functional skills and GCSE exams. While you may wish to have a weekly tutor for your child, often it is relatively small but extremely important gaps in either knowledge or strategy that hold a student back in their school Maths lessons. I aim to target these gaps in an encouraging supportive manner in order to allow the student to excel. Therefore I am happy to offer one-off sessions (a block of between 3-6 sessions is usually optimal though, depending on the student).
