I am delighted to still have some availability after my last set of exam students finished last month. All sessions are delivered on line so that there are no geographical restrictions.

I am a woman with a great passion for science and maths, the way these subjects explain the world around us has always been of great interest to me. As such, after really enjoying my science and maths subjects whilst studying the IB at school, I have gained two science degrees and still enjoy being involved in the subjects. In all my work I am very organised and structured, and after first tutoring over seven years ago whilst still studying I realised I had found something that I found very rewarding and thoroughly enjoyed. I now work full time as a tutor and as such can offer both Saturday and weekday evening online slots.

Tutoring Experience

I have been working as a private tutor for over seven years, with this being full time for over three years. Furthermore I have a great deal of personal experience in the education system including nine years of University level study. My previous experience working as a pupil support assistant also enable me to create appropriate resources and draw on experience of approaches that have worked for other students.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring students is very practice based and principle based. When we understand how something works it becomes much more interesting and this enables greater engagement. Additionally, in exams we can never truly predict the exact questions but the better the understanding of the core principles and the more practice in applying these to answers the more naturally an exam will flow.
