I am a qualified teacher, who has been working in education for 19 years.
I have been working in schools since 2005. I started as a Teaching Assistant, then in 2011 I became a qualified teacher. I worked as a primary school teacher for 10 years, for the past 3 years I have worked as a specialist teacher providing tutoring on a one to one basis, for Birmingham Local Authority for children in residential children's homes.
In my teaching approach, I strive to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and supported. I believe in a student-centered approach that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and collaboration. By incorporating a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, multimedia resources, and real-world examples, I aim to cater to diverse learning styles and foster a love for learning. I place a strong emphasis on building strong relationships with my students, providing constructive feedback, and encouraging them to take ownership of their education. Through personalised attention and a commitment to continuous improvement, I am dedicated to helping students reach their full potential and become lifelong learners.
