Hello, I am an experienced tutor and a current PhD student at the University of Oxford.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 10 years experience of both Latin and Greek, studying at Durham University, Cambridge University, and currently Oxford University where I am completing my PhD in Classical Languages and Literature. I have been tutoring for 4 years with excellent results and positive reviews. I hold a DBS check and the latest child safety certifications.

Tutoring Approach

I take a personalised approach to lessons, depending on your level and goals. I am available for GCSE, A-Level, IB and beyond, as well as those who are self-teaching. My typical lesson length is 1 hour, and mostly online, although I can take face-to-face students in the Oxford area.

My teaching philosophy is to tailor my sessions precisely to my student's needs, but always combining an academically rigorous approach with enthusiasm and fun, ensuring the best outcome. Our first session, free of charge, will start with a discussion of where you are with the language currently, and where you would like to end up, so I can work out the most appropriate plan to help you achieve your desired results.
