I am an Oxford graduate in mathematical and theoretical physics, currently applying for a PhD in string theory. I am incredibly passionate about physics, and love teaching. I can provide dynamic, effective tutoring in a friendly environment.
I have experience teaching GCSE physics and mentoring at A-level, as well as teaching at a university level. I have also given presentations at Oxford to both large and small audiences, and carried out independent research, which I then presented in a thesis.
By far the most important aspect of learning maths and physics is actually doing and tackling problems, and so we will go through the material, and complement this with lots of questions and practice.
Far too often, physics is made to seem boring and unattractive, and so I like to create fun but useful analogies that explain the ideas but are also slightly quirky and memorable!
