Brian's Feedback

Brian has been working with my son (in Y12) for the last six weeks. My son as enjoyed the sessions and found them to be a huge help with his progress in Economics A-level. They have covered key elements of the syllabus which my son had identified as weaker areas. Most importantly my son's confidence in the subject has been hugely increased with Brian's support.

Brian has been amazing tutoring my son for A levels. He has a great understanding of the subject as well as the exam requirements. He is also great at delivering the lessons online with efficiency. They are making a great progress so far which has reflected in his grades.

My son has just begun tutoring with Brian and he has already made such a difference! He is engaging and very knowledgeable, we are so glad to have found him!

Brian has been reliable and communication has been excellent. He quickly identified the gaps in knowledge and the work to be done. The additional support has helped to build confidence in preparation for A level exams.

Since Brian has been tutoring Ben his knowledge of Economics has improved immensely. Brian has helped Ben improve his exam technique and how to go about answering the exam questions. Recently Brian has also been helping with A-level Business and much improvement has also been seen.

Since my daughter began receiving tutoring from Brian, her understanding of Economics has improved immensely. Our lessons were vague, when I asked to go through a specific material, we still didn't actually do anything. On our last lesson, I asked Brian to mark to past paper, which I've sent to him and asked for some feedback. I didn't get it back, when I told Brian, that it is really important, because I have an exam soon.

I enjoy the lessons with Brian. He has a depth knowledge of the subject and knows his work very well. Teaching is always clear and precise. I like the little test he made or gave during the lesson, made me understand the topics all the better. I start to like the subject more and more, guess it must be because of the way he teaches and explains. What my former teachers failed to teach, he made it in two sentences. I like to highlight that he connects the subjects with the real world matters, makes it so relatable. And you can really grasp the concept once he lays down the facts.

As English isn't my native, I have to switch from German to English sometimes but Brian always managed it very well. I'd definitely continue having my lessons with him once after I go to the university. Too bad, why can't we have teachers like him in Switzerland!

Highly recommended to anyone, especially if you're an international student.

My son has had 2 sessions with Brian and although early days, my son is very happy with the approach, content and format of the sessions. From my point of view, Brian has been professional and helpful to deal with and has quickly identified and agreed with my son areas where improvements can be made and prioritised these needs accordingly.

Brilliant tutour. Brian was supportive, organised, efficient, motivational and most importantly his lessons were enjoyable. He has the highest level of knowledge in the subject. He was certainly the catalyst in helping me get an A in my A level this summer and therefore I cannot recommend him anymore.

Brian was an excellent tutor for my son. He identified the areas that needed attention and developed my son's understanding of economics and how to apply it for A level in a patient and steady way.

Brian has been extremely helpful to my son and has gone out of his way to help him.I cannot recommend him highly enough.

What I would say to anyone who is looking for a tutor for the first time, with ANY tutor, have a very clear dialogue at the beginning about what your expectations are in terms of time, face-to-face v. Skype etc and agree those right at the beginning.

Brian is an excellent tutor and has really helped my son catch up with AS Economics. He brings the subject to life and my son enjoys his lessons and is feeling a lot more confident about his AS exam. Brian prepares well for the lessons and ensures that throughout the lesson my son has understood what he has been taught. I would be very happy to recommend Brian as a tutor.
