I have a BA degree from the OU and a MSc from the University of Bath School of Management. 10 years working in manufacturing and commerce, mainly in marketing, production engineering and training and development. I'm a Chartered Member of the Chartered Instute of Personnel & Development

Tutoring Experience

I have taught for over 40 years in both Further and Higher Education - main subjects being Management & Business. I have taught management and marketing to enginering undergraduates and Personnel subjects to CIPD and other students. I have also spent about 8 years as a Business Studies 'A' level examiner, so I know what's expected from a candidate.

Tutoring Approach

I'm passionate about developing an holistic approach to learning. Each student, that I tutor, will have a bespoke programme of study designed around their needs. This will include exam techniques, critical thinking and mind mapping which, I believe, are the three pillars which enable students to access the higher grades. This together with extensive and detailed feedback on all work, either set by me or the school, gives an integrated approach to study.
