I am a fourth year medical student at the University of Cambridge, with a first class BA in Physiology and Development from Cambridge, ranking 9th place in my year. I am organised, enthusiastic and committed to offering high quality lessons for my students. My strong academic record means I have comprehensive knowledge of the subjects offered.

In my free time at university I am on the committee of a number of societies, and enjoy cycling.

Your first free lesson will be a session for us to get to know each other, help me understand your aims, and for us to discuss how we will achieve them together

Tutoring Experience

University level: Personal statement advice, high quality coaching and prep for the BMAT medicine entrance exam and university interview technique. I achieved 4.5A in the BMAT section three paper and a top decile score in the UCAT (total score of 3130). I also secured places at Cambridge, Imperial, UCL and Nottingham to read medicine. I am therefore well positioned to coach you through the admissions process.

Tutoring Approach

I take a collaborative approach to teaching, working through problems and discussing areas of interest with students so we can understand properly the core principals of the subject. This facilitates building a strong foundation of subject knowledge. This is translated into exam success with practise questions taken from GCSE papers and other worksheets so that exam technique is bolstered.

Sessions will be focussed to your needs and will provide a challenge if appropriate. Work will be provided to complete between sessions.
