After achieving a prize-winning degree classification in Biochemistry at Imperial College London, I completed a Masters in Bioinformatics. I am now enrolled on a PhD in cancer genetics funded by a Cancer Research UK scholarship. I have designed and delivered course modules aimed at members of Cambridge University, and have also presented science to members of the public during engagement activities, including work at the Science Museum in London and at a CRUK hackathon!
I have prepared lectures and practical workshops for postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers at Cambridge University.
My approach is focused on learning concepts as opposed to memorising details - these should become obvious once a fundamental theory is grasped. I also recognise the importance of exam technique, having provided past guidance to A-level students in this area.
