Bernadetta

Bernadetta is an experienced lecturer and researcher in International Business and Economics, with over six years of higher education teaching experience. She is currently pursuing a PhD in International Business and Economics at Sheffield Hallam University. Bernadetta is passionate about delivering engaging and insightful lectures while integrating research led teaching to enhance student learning. Skilled in module development, research supervision and assessment with expertise in quantitative research methods. Currently seeking a teaching position where I can combine my research expertise with innovative teaching strategies to contribute to academic excellence and student success.

Tutoring Experience

I have over six years of experience teaching in higher education both in the UK and internationally. I have taught a wide range of modules including macroeconomics,microeconomics, development finance, global business environment, principles of International business, International Strategic Management and quantitative analysis. I have also successfully supervised both undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes active learning approaches where focus is on student-centered learning, supported by continuous feedback, digital learning tools, and a commitment to inclusivity. At Sheffield Hallam University and Manchester Metropolitan University, I effectively managed large classes and contributed to curriculum and module development. I am also experienced in online teaching, gained through my role at UNICAF Malawi University, where I used virtual platforms to maintain high-quality instruction.
