I have a Bsc (Hons) in Chemistry in which i received a First class degree and I have also done PGCE in Science.I have 8 years of teaching experience in a College and I have also taught Foundation Pharmacy course for the University of Manchester for 3 years.I have 10 years one to one tutoring experience.I use notes which are prepared by myself and question booklet which uses questions from past papers.I was the Curriculum leader for the Chemistry department in the last 2 years of my teaching.The notes which i prepared were used for all the Chemistry students on the A Level couse.I have consequently achieved outstanding results during my teaching and outstanding ALPS grades.I am specialised in teaching and delivering AQA AS/A2 Chemistry.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught A Level Chemistry and Foundation Pharmacy course in a College for 8 years and tutoring experience for 10 years.I was also the Curriculum leader for my department for the last two years of my teaching.I am known to be a hardworking and dedicated teacher who puts 100% effort to ensure that students do well.I am also known to be a very helpul teacher not just to my own students but students from other classes.

Tutoring Approach

I have many years of experience with one-to-one tution.I vary my methods of teaching/tutoring depending on the type of learner.I have excellent knowledge and great passion for my subject to ensure that the students achieve there target grades and in most cases do better than expected.I have many resources and different approaches to ensure that a difficult question can be broken down and tackled.I alter my notes and the type of teaching depending on the the learning method of an individual student.My first tution session usually involves finding out the preferred learning style of an individual student and the areas where help is required.I then alter or prepare new notes for the individual student to meet their learning needs.I also recap work with students on a regular basis through more questions to ensure previous work which was covered is not forgotten.
