Hi I'm Benedict, a final year student at Cambridge studying Chemistry. Before my final year, I also studied Maths and Physics. At school, I did Double Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-level. I also play for the Gonville & Caius College and University rugby teams and enjoy cycling and tennis.

I've tutored several students STEM subjects up to A-level for over a year.

Tutoring Approach

There are two approaches I take depending on what the student needs. If the goal is to pass the exam then I will take a structured approach following the syllabus, ensuring all topics are covered and helping with exam technique to maximise available marks in the exam. I will ask the student to complete some problems or a past paper before the tutoring session so that the most can be made of the session. The student is more than welcome to bring their own questions to the session and indicate anything they feel needs to be worked on before the next session. If the goal is to expand your learning then, in addition to the points above, I will ask questions outside the syllabus to test and push your understanding of the subject. I would also be happy to provide Oxbridge tutoring, specifically Chemistry, in preparation for admission tests and interviews.
