I offer premium tuition to KS2 & KS3 pupils online or in the October half-term at the beautiful Downside School, near Bath. As a professional tutor, who has taught at KS2 & KS3 at Kingswood Prep School, Millfiled Prep School and BJAB Prep School (Brussels), I have a wealth of experience in preparing pupils for independent school entrance exams, and hold an impressive track record with results. I holistically support children in gaining places to top independent schools in the UK and beyond and ensure that they are ready for the next step on their educational journey in a calm and encouraging manner.

Tutoring Experience

In addition to my five years at Kingswood Prep School, three years at Millfield Prep School and two years at the British Junior Academy of Brussels, I have opened a successful school in Beijing and have also taught in Taiwan, Indonesia and Germany. I am also fluent in Chinese.

Tutoring Approach

Before a term starts, I first meet with my students and their parent(s) online or in person (free of charge). It is important to get to know each other so that lessons can be created around not only a student's needs, but also their interests.

My October half-term holiday course at Downside is the most fun and cost-effective way of learning with me!

As for more long-term, one term (One-to-one: £395) is six weeks. One-to-two and larger classes are also available and work out more economical for individual students. One term includes:
• 6x weekly 50-minute lessons (prepared & taught). Same time every week.
• Feedback to parent(s) on progress after each lesson (short message within 24 hours).
• After each term, parents can request a meeting to discuss anything.
• Suitable homework set and marked (if requested).
• Suggested book series for home reading with family member (if requested).
