I work part time as a Careers Adviser in schools at the moment and am looking to spend some time turoring students in Business Studies (my teaching subject). I have run my own business in making chocolates but now only do this as a hobby. I am also a singer in a band.
I graduated in 1981 and taught for 6 years in this country. I then moved to Spain and set up my own Business Studies department. I taught GCSE and A level for 13 years in an English International school. On my return to England I attended Reading University to take a Post Graduate qualification in Careers Guidance. I have been teaching and providing Careers Guidance in England for the past 22 years. The last qualification I took was a certificate in counselling with the Institute of Counselling in 2010.
I try to make my lessons active and interactive. I try to treat each student as an individual and like to get to know each students learning style to see how best I can help.
