I have always been known by my students as being a motivated, friendly and energetic teacher who enjoys engaging with technology in order to get students to become motivated with learning. I am passionate about my subjects and will work hard to ensure you are always progressing.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for 30 years in both State and Independent Sectors.
My subjects are English, Film studies and Media Studies; all which I have taught for many years to secondary students at KS3 /4/5.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to helping students has always been to understand how that student learns and then offer practical ideas to help support their progression. I have completed a Diploma in educational studies which means that I have current knowledge of pedagogy and how to enable students to learn.
