I have a bachelors in Economics and I am currently pursuing further studies.

I am friendly, warm, and approachable. I am deeply passionate about teaching and enjoy academic and intellectual discussions.

For me, the best part of teaching has always been sitting with a student and fostering their enthusiasm for the subject through building their confidence.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience teaching Economics at university level as a Teaching Assistant.

I also have experience teaching students online from year 3 up-to university level.

Prior to all this I also used to tutor A-Level and IGCSE Maths, Economics, and more.

Tutoring Approach

Three things are central in my approach:
1. Ensuring that students feel engaged, feel enthusiastic about the subject, and feel positive about their ability to learn.
2. Ensuring that as much meaningful and effective learning takes place in the available time.
3. Ensuring that students are experienced and comfortable answering exam questions.

I accomplish both of the above by adopting a learner-centred approach as I have found that this is when the best teaching occurs. Rather then lecturing my students, I strive to facilitate their learning by engaging their minds in a discussion to better absorb the information and to build solution models that are widely applicable.

I center my sessions around exam questions which are a brilliant resource for developing understanding of the subject at hand, as well as for improving ‘exam technique’.
