Hello! こんにちは。I am a native Japanese speaker who well knows about Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya. I currently live in the UK for 2 years and I gained not only English language skills but also knowledge and awareness of the UK culture.

While I have Japanese teaching experience for several years in private and group classes in Japan, my qualifications are in different departments. However, this wide range of experiences is one of my strengths, and it shows I have different perspectives and could apply the learning style which is fitted each person.

Through my experiences, I would like to support and encourage students to learn and understand Japanese;) If you want to understand and use Japanese seriously, I could help from beginner to mid-level. This must be beneficial for the GCSE test, but I do not teach how to handle it. Tutoring Experience

I have experience teaching Japanese, Math and English to children ranging from 6 years old to 15 years old in Japan for several years in private lessons and group lessons. In terms of Japanese, I taught students of the beginner level to mid-advanced level (by Japanese junior high school student level). In group lessons, I have a curriculum and every student up to 20 students have to progress at the same time. So, I inserted a quick reviewing time in the lesson each time as well as gave students homework which was a daily task in 15 mins. These helped students remember Japanese because they related to Japanese every day before they felt bored. This experience gave me insights into how to encourage children to learn Japanese and which parts are difficult to understand for foreigners.

Tutoring Approach

I offer a free tutoring lesson for the next lesson’s arrangement to make the points clear before starting lessons.

My lesson is totally different for each person. If you are a beginner, I will provide suitable documents for adapting to students’ needs. If you want to practice a conversation and learn about specific topics, you can bring the subjects by yourself as well.

I basically provide online lessons, but I will be able to accept face-to-face attendance in the Manchester area. Please let me ask about your preference.
