Hi! I’m Asmaa, a Diagnostic Radiography student about to enter my second year of university, with three years of tutoring experience. I teach students from KS3 all the way up to A-Level, specializing in online lessons for Biology, Chemistry, and Edexcel A-Level Psychology. My goal is to help students of all ages and levels unlock their full potential in a supportive and engaging environment.

Since I completed my A-Levels not too long ago, everything is still fresh in my mind — from tricky exam questions to effective revision strategies. I’m very familiar with the Edexcel A-Level Psychology specification and understand how the exams are structured, including the common pitfalls students face. I know exactly where students tend to struggle with topics like research methods, psychological approaches, and evaluation of studies. Having gone through it myself, I completely understand the pressures of balancing multiple demanding subjects, and I’m here to help make the learning process as stress-free and effective as possible.

Learning doesn’t have to be boring! I tailor my lessons to match your learning style — whether you’re a visual learner, need lots of discussion to understand concepts, or prefer clear step-by-step methods.

Lesson Structure and techniques :

My lessons are usually one hour long, but I’m flexible depending on what you need!

We’ll also use your exam board specifications (like a checklist) to assess your knowledge and ensure we cover everything you need — nothing extra, nothing missed. During lessons, I’ll create structured plans not only for your contemporary + classic studies but also for practicals, key questions, and all issues and debates. This way, you won’t waste time on unnecessary info. I know the content can feel overwhelming already — my job is to make your life easier, not harder!

We’ll break topics into manageable steps, focusing especially on the areas you find hardest. And of course, you’re always welcome to ask me questions, not just during lessons but outside of lessons too. I’m here to support you every step of the way — not just deliver a lesson and leave you to struggle on your own.

Active recall will be a big part of our lessons: I'll regularly ask you to explain difficult concepts back to me. This helps keep you engaged (because it's so easy to drift during online lessons) and strengthens your understanding massively.

After finishing each topic, we’ll go through real exam-style questions together, so you get used to the wording and style. I’ll also set weekly homework made up of exam questions. You'll mark your answers, and send back the ones you struggled with, so we can work specifically on your weak spots.

This method helps polish your exam technique and build the skills you need to achieve the top grades. Along the way, I’ll also share revision methods, study tips, and strategies that helped me succeed.
