Hi! I'm a freelance writer and actor from Yorkshire. I work primarily as a freelance writer, after graduating from the University of Exeter with a First Class Honours English degree. I also worked for four years as an educational writer, creating GCSE and A-Level English Literature course content for GCSE/A-Level.
I also work as an actor on stage/screen and offer drama classes for students applying for drama school, or undertaking their GCSE/A-LEVEL Theatre Studies.

Tutoring Experience

I am a very experienced English tutor with a great understanding of what is required at GCSE and A level.
I've worked as a classroom and SEN TA, with a First Class Honours English degree from the University of Exeter. I have a full advanced DBS and have worked with kids from 5 - 17 both SEN and mainstream. I have written course materials privately for schools to help both initial learning and revision for GCSE/ A-Level English Literature. I am patient and experienced with all levels of ability.

Tutoring Approach

I have a fun, patient and relaxed approach to learning; based upon true understanding rather than rote learning. I also believe in catering to the needs of the individual student. As someone who grew up with dyslexia and was far too shy to thrive in a classroom environment, I believe it's so important to cater to each individual student's learning requirements.
