I’m a Cambridge graduate and am passionate about helping students succeed.
I understand how to help students learn. I tutor both high achievers and those requiring help with motivation: facilitating them to reach academic success.
I know how to make a difference and am passionate about helping people learn HOW to learn.
I home educated my children who have both achieved top grades in their GCSEs
and A levels and they love science.
As well as being a devoted parent, I enjoy lots of sports including swimming, running and snow boarding and I love being outdoors in nature.
I have been teaching and tutoring GCSE biology and KS3 science for many years. As well as tutoring, I currently teach both subjects at Hampshire's main home education centre.
I effectively communicate and demystify the content, helping students engage with their subject.
I explore the best methods for each student to understand and retain the material and develop the skills and attitudes which allow their learning to become an enjoyable, rewarding experience; a life long skill.
