Annalisa

My name is Annalisa and I am a trained singer offering both singing and theory lessons. I have been trained in classical music, musical theatre and popular music and I have studied in Canada, Italy and London over the past 8 years. I have studied at Academy of Contemporary Music London and Scuola di Musica MC Milano.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience teaching music to children ages 7-18 as well as adult students all with varying levels of experience and styles ranging from classical and popular music to musical theatre.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to music study is to create a relationship with my students where they know that their knowledge, abilities and efforts are highly valued. I believe in a process which allows students to create a set of skills which they can rely on as they progress in their music journey. We will work on the varying aspects that encompass singing such as technical skills, performance skills and music theory. All to ensure that my students have a well rounded study and the technical abilities to apply their knowledge to a performance situation.
I take pride in creating a safe learning environment where students can feel confident and comfortable in learning, making mistakes and asking questions.
It is the greatest reward as a teacher to see students reach their personal goals, fully believe in their gift and trust their technique.

I am offering 30 min lessons for £30 and 60 min lessons for £50. I also offer an initial 15 minute complimentary session for the student and myself to be able to meet each other. I believe that it is important for students to feel comfortable with their teacher and the environment in which they will be studying.
