Hi, I'd like to offer encouraging and supportive music tuition at GCSE and A-level. I have just graduated with a first class music degree and I'm very passionate about the subject! I feel that I have a good and fresh understanding of the curriculums at both GCSE and A-Level (achieving an A* in music at GCSE and an A at A-Level). I also feel that music is for everyone and so I'm happy to help anyone with their music theory no matter what stage they're at with their understanding!
I have helped on workshops exploring GCSE and A-Level curriculums in music as well as sessions on the ABRSM music theory syllabus. I've been involved in study groups and group sessions to aid learning during my time in school and university!
My teaching style would involve the student bringing an area of the course (could be a specific piece, composition question etc.) or an area of particular confusion within music theory and we would talk through it together, working through exam questions or marking criteria. I'd aim to tackle any issues within the subject that suits that tutee's best learning style.
