I am passionate about helping students reach their goals. I love teaching and working with young people and enjoyed teaching in Secondary Schools. My students have described me as 'warm strict' wanting to ensure academic success through hard work, but also allowing room for fun and meaningful relationships with my students.

Tutoring Experience

I achieved QTS in 2021 with University College London (UCL), and went on to complete a PGDE (Post Graduate Diploma in Education) in 2022 with UCL. I am a fully qualified Secondary School Teacher who tutors History KS3 and GCSE and Maths KS3. I love working with students and forming meaningful relations to ensure they achieve their goals.

Tutoring Approach

I want to work with the student to pin-point particular areas for improvement which lessons will then focus on. I will also assess through conversation areas I feel would be appropriate to work on but will work alongside the aims the student has. I use a range of questioning and application of information to check for understanding in a low-stakes way to ensure success.
