I'm currently in my second year studying English Literature at the University of Bristol. I received straight As in my A-Levels, including English Literature. I am passionate about both studying and teaching English. I believe that the skills developed from studying English are paramount to success in higher education and career opportunities. Some of these skills include analytical and critical thinking, effective communication, and imaginative problem-solving.

When I start with a new student, I assess their strengths and weaknesses, current level of understanding, and learning preferences in order to develop a personalised tutoring plan.
Goals:
I work with the student to set clear and achievable goals and regularly revisit these goals to track progress and adjust if needed.
Engagement:
I always try my best to keep my students engaged and motivated by making my lessons interactive and interesting.
Feedback and reinforcement:
I provide regular, constructive feedback and positive reinforcement to boost my students' confidence.
Communication:
I always maintain open and effective communication with my students and their parents/guardians. I regularly update them on the student's progress, challenges, and areas for improvement and encourage them to share any concerns or insights that may help enhance the tutoring experience.
