I am a Classics teacher with many years' experience of teaching in different kinds of schools. My main aim in teaching/tutoring is to pass on my own enthusiasm for Classical languages and literature!

I have many years' experience of teaching in different kinds of schools, including leading independent boarding and London day schools. I have taught children and young peoeple of all abilities and I also have much experience of teaching programmes tailored to the individual.
My approach varies depending on the student and on the subject being taught. Everyone needs to be able to relate to the subject that they are learning in order to make progress, so I will try to relate what I am teaching to other subjects that the student is studying. Rigour and humour are essential!
