I am a secondary Maths teacher and have worked in a variety of different schools during my career. I am passionate about making Maths accessible to all and ensuring that each pupil is able to achieve their potential.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught in secondary schools both within the state and independent sectors for over ten years and during that time I have focused on helping pupils to overcome their anxiety about Maths and any barriers to learning.
Throughout my teaching career, I have had a wide variety of experience preparing pupils for examinations including GCSE/iGCSE (at both higher and foundation levels) and I am also an experienced teacher of A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, where I specialise in Pure/Core , Decision Maths and Mechanics.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is to develop understanding of the mathematical concepts and with that to help the pupils gain greater confidence in Maths. All sessions are tailored to the individual pupil's needs using the resources that are best suited to their needs. Some may need reinforcement of concepts while others may require a greater challenge.
