I am an English Lead Practitioner and have taught all exam boards: Edexcel. OCR, iGCSE, Eduqas and AQA GCSE exam specifications. I am also an Associate Marker for exam boards with in-depth insights into what students need to do to achieve their optimum grades in examinations.

In 2022:
88% of all grades were Grade 7-9 (A-A**)
100% of all grades were Grade 5-9

Every student achieved the results they needed.
Many students improved by 3 grades or more and one made an incredible 5 grade improvement from March to May!

I teach KS2, KS3, KS4 (GCSE), and A-Level students.

Students will see improvements from the very first lesson and will be more confident tackling the exam requirements.

Tutoring Experience

Over 11 years experience teaching in secondary school. I have taught students from 11-18 years (Year 7- A-Level). I am an accredited Lead Practitioner in English with experience at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 3 level.

Tutoring Approach

Your child will receive a personalised approach in every lesson. I will set up an online classroom to support in between lessons, regular revision and homework tasks and model paragraphs to use as a reference. We will also co-construct sample answers to aid understanding.
