Volunteer - Teaching Refugee Children

I taught refugee children English, Science and Maths when I volunteered to help the children for a good cause.

TED-Ed Club Leader
SEPTEMBER 2018 - PRESENT
I initiated a club, where I independently lead and motivated almost fifty students to write and perform their own talks. I taught public speaking and presentation skills to all of these students. As well as this, I made a connection between my school and the TED organisation so students have the chance to share their talks to the world through the TED YouTube channel for an international competition.

Caversham Library, Reading - Volunteer
MAY 2018 - JANUARY 2019
I encouraged children to read and discussed the benefits of reading with parents by being a Summer Reading Challenge ambassador and volunteer in the children's area at the library.
