Masters qualified teacher from Australia now living in London. As a current Head of Year, I have a holistic approach to education: I pride myself on building positive relationships with my students and bridging the gaps that have been created over throughout the pandemic. I have a wealth of experience in bringing out the best of my students with online teaching and helping students become more confident and independent learners.

When out of the classroom, I’m a lover of great food, fashion, literature and travel! Five adjectives I would use to describe myself: caring; intelligent; worldly: optimistic; open.

Tutoring Experience

I have 6 years experience as a Secondary school teacher and have taught diverse learners in Australia and the UK. I have experience delivering personalised and differentiated education in KS3 and KS4 GCSE (especially EdExcel) and IB Literature and Language.

I am also currently a Head of Year, which makes me an experienced and holistic strategist of student success.

Tutoring Approach

I specialise in personalised learning, which means I have a diagnostic approach to teaching and adapt my content and approach based on the students specific needs. I have experience teaching at all levels of attainment.

I am a very warm, charismatic and caring person which is an important part of my practice so that students feel safe enough to take risks and enjoy their learning time!
