A fully CRB checked teacher (CRB checked through my school). I have been qualified and teaching for over 6 years in Key Stage 2. Being a primary school teacher I cover a range of subjects day-to-day and as I am currently in Year 4 I am every familiar with the new Government Multiplications Tables Check (MTC) test.

Tutoring Experience

Teaching full time for over 6 years mainly in Key Stage 2. With previous experience of having taught in Malaysia. Currently conducting one-to-one tutoring through an educational institution.

Tutoring Approach

Tutoring is an open, friendly approach to learning where your child can build on what they have been learning in school and give them the confidence to address any gaps or areas that they don't feel confident with. Crucially, tutoring gives your child that 1-to-1 time that they would not normally receive in the classroom. Having been teaching for over 6 years I am often frustrated that I cannot give that 1-to-1 time that children sometimes need to ensure they make the progress that they are capable of.
