I began playing guitar age 14, pursued music through college and university and have been a self-employed musician for over 10 years now. I've worked on projects in all genres from rock through rap to orchestral.

Tutoring Experience

For 10+ years I have taught between 10-20 guitar students of all ages and abilities. For 7 years I ran a professional recording studio in Manchester - working with many popular local artists as well as for the BBC and other large companies. I've also worked with many music charities, facilitating music workshops across Manchester city. I'm currently working on a YouTube channel for guitar backing tracks and tuition. Removed

Tutoring Approach

I enjoy teaching lessons that are relevant to each individual students. This requires a bit more work for me to prep but I think my students benefit from every lesson being tailored to them. We'll learn all the chords, scales, technique and knowledge encountered in the grade books but through more unique and engaging content.
