I am currently accepting students for sessions starting in September 2025
I am a fully qualified maths teacher with a first-class degree in Mathematics and Statistics. In addition to my degree, I successfully passed two actuarial examinations with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 2017— Financial Mathematics (CT1) and Probability and Statistics (CT3).
I am passionate about helping students succeed. I take pride in being a friendly, patient, and compassionate tutor, and I love seeing students gain confidence and make progress in their understanding of mathematics. Whether you need support with challenging topics or want to deepen your knowledge, I am here to guide you every step of the way.
With experience teaching Mathematics in a range of secondary schools, I have had the privilege of working with students at all levels, from Year 7 to A Level, including Core Maths (Level 3), GCSE Statistics, and GCSE resits. This diverse experience has helped me adapt my teaching style to meet each student’s individual needs. Whether you're looking for extra support to pass your GCSEs or aiming for more advanced challenges, such as maths competitions or Olympiads, I’m here to help you succeed!
My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand concepts, rather than just memorising rules. I personalise each lesson to fit their individual learning needs and use interactive tools like Desmos, Mathspad and Autograph to make learning both visual and engaging. I aim to create a calm and relaxed environment where every session is productive, enjoyable, and tailored to help you succeed.
In each session, I guide students through concepts step by step, using clear examples and a gradual approach. We start by building confidence with fluency, then progress to reasoning and problem-solving, ensuring that students feel comfortable with both familiar and unfamiliar questions. I also help students in creating their own revision folders, making it easier for them to review and prepare for tests and exams.
