I am a Harvard and Cambridge-educated engineer with extensive tutoring experience. I greatly enjoy assisting my tutees in their understanding of maths and physics topics, and helping them meet their academic goals. I love learning, and I hope to share this love with my tutees. Outside of academia, I enjoy running, cycling, hiking, yoga, cooking, and reading.
I am a friendly, approachable person, passionate about learning.
I have been a tutor for the past 6 years across a range of subjects (maths, physics, biology, chemistry, statistics).
Initially, I tutored younger peers throughout high school at IGCSE and A Level (one-to-one and in small groups). I then worked as a private one-to-one tutor during my undergrad for the Harvard Bureau of Study Counsel, covering material across a range of entry level undergrad maths and science courses. Most recently, I was a teaching assistant for a higher level calculus course in the Harvard University Applied Mathematics Department. I held weekly material review sessions, problem solving sessions and office hours for a class of ~15 students.
My approach is very flexible and I will adapt according to my tutees' needs. I am a concerted listener and aim to create an environment where my tutees feel comfortable asking any type of question. I encourage my tutees to be actively engaged in the lesson :)
I also offer an initial consultation to discuss the ideal approach.
