I'm a friendly, experienced tutor who loves learning and teaching in creative, engaging ways. My goal is to spark enthusiasm for your subject and help you grow with personalised resources tailored to your needs.

I hold a BA, MA, and PhD in literature-related fields. I now work as a Pastoral Support Lead at a local primary school.

I mainly tutor through word-of-mouth, but having recently moved to Leicester, I'm now fully available for online tuition only.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 10 years of teaching experience across a wide range of settings, including home tuition, pupil referral units, tuition centres (including supporting a UK start-up), and 1:1 work with both children and adults, many with learning difficulties, and English as an additional language. I've also arranged immersive language courses for international students and lectured part-time at De Montfort University. I now work as a Pastoral Support Lead at a primary school to support children with outside influences that may impact access to learning.

I have an excellent track record preparing students for Grammar and Private School entrance exams, as well as high pass rates for i/GCSEs (Edexcel and AQA).

I tutor at all levels listed on my profile, tailoring my approach to suit individual learning styles. My aim is to build confidence and engagement in every session.

First lesson is FREE, no commitment required. We'll use this hour to discuss your goals and learning needs, and get to know each other.

If you choose to continue, I’ll create a tailored lesson plan and we’ll proceed week by week. All lessons include homework, adjusted to suit your learning style. I don’t follow a fixed teaching method as your approach shapes the session.
