Im a qualified Spanish in a 2 north-west london high schools. I’ve been a teacher for 6 years, head of KS3 (years 7-9) in Spanish, teaching beginners to ALevel students and I’ve been tutoring for over 10 years.
I love Spanish and I'm an enthusiastic, hardworking and fun tutor. I want your child to gain confidence in their Spanish and love it like I do, mastering written and spoken Spanish.
I am a fully qualified teacher working in northwest london. I am experienced in teaching beginners to Alevels.
I have mentored and taught Spanish to underprivileged and neglected children from the ages of 3-15 in Quito with CENIT (Centro de la Niña Trabajadora), an Ecuadorian NGO.
I have also tutored children (from 4 years old) to adults in English and Spanish over the last 6 years.
It depends on what each child needs, I think it's important to tailor tutoring to each individual depending on what the student needs. I like to create a fun, interactive, comfortable and friendly environment to increase the child's confidence in the language, focusing on all the different areas of Spanish; reading, writing and spoken.
I can go through the course curriculum, tutoring the children what they learnt in school, in a different way or focus on areas the child specifically needs help in, increasing their knowledge and fluency and also their confidence in the language- which is absolutely key.
I prefer to speak in Spanish throughout the lesson, reinforcing everything that has been learnt, and I will use a wide range of resources; textbooks, songs, films, newspapers, making learning fun!
