Tutoring Approach

I like to focus on individual learning patterns to find the best teaching method for each student, but I generally teach step-by-step approaches to exam questions, aiming to simplify complex topics into easily digestible pieces.

Politics at A-level is about understanding the content, core essay-writing skills and relevant political examples. I find that the best way to teach this is a combination of one-on-one open discussion, digging into the real-world workings and examples of each topic beyond what a school may teach, and creating a rock-solid essay strategy.

I love both English and Politics, and hope to pass that on to my students, particularly if they are struggling to engage with the subject.
