Hi, I'm Amber and I am passionate about education. I love teaching and helping children enjoy their learning and thrive to reach their full potential. I have over 10 years experience of Primary school teaching. I live with my husband and two children and in my spare time I love travelling with my family, watching many a muddy football match and reading.
I have over 10 years experience teaching across Key Stage Two predominately in Year 6 and 3. I have a a great knowledge of KS2 Sats and have been a successful subject lead in Maths, Reading and Spanish.
My experience means I have a clear understanding of progression and how to support, encourage and develop a love of learning.
I am currently (and very recently) working as a civil servant, within the education department and loving having the opportunity to learn about the education system on a wider scale.
I believe in developing positive and trusting relationships with learners which enable them to build resilience and key knowledge with their learning. I am very passionate about learning and will always look to be creative and inspiring in how I deliver lessons. I believe that by teaching key concepts well, you are able to equip children with the tools they need to make connections with their learning thus building confidence and resilience.
