I received my first degree in Journalism in China and an MA degree from the UK. I am the holder of the first class national Mandarin certificate and worked many years in Chinese media.
I hope to provide a better Mandarin learning environment for more people in York and surrounding areas.

I have been teaching Mandarin Chinese more than 10 years in both of private lessons and classroom lessons.

Tutoring Approach

I am a loving, patient teacher with a strong sense of responsibility and I truly love Chinese language teaching. In classroom, I practice different teaching methods e.g. entertaining and interactive lectures and follow through induction, these effectively stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm in learning Chinese.
