Ahmed is excellent tutor but not work for my daughter

Ahmed is a wonderful tutor. He is very supportive throughout, often preparing papers and resources for each session. He is punctual and reliable.

During initial communication, we could not reach an agreed arrangement for lessons. We did not reach an agreement on a suitable time for the in-person lesson nor a suitable platform for the on-line option and so no Physics lesson took place with Ahmed. Therefore, this rating is only for his prompt response to initial communication.

Ahmed is a wonderful tutor and is very conscientious, my eldest son had him for his GCSE mathematics retake, he would set work and follow up regularly to ensure he was putting in the hours of practice to ensure he had the best chance of getting a higher grade in his exams… he was so good I'm now using him for my younger son for his maths and physics!

Ahmed has built a good relationship with our child, and has started increasing their confidence and she is finding the lessons extremely helpful

Ahmed has tutored my daughter for her GCSE maths and further maths. My daughter greatly appreciated his help to explain some of the complex maths problems with more time and attention than she gets in class. Ahmed was courteous and polite and often stayed beyond the agreed time to work on more problems. Highly recommended

Ahmed has been tutoring my daughter for a month now. She really enjoys the lessons, his attitude and the way she explains things to her. His also very good engaging and enthusing her. Ahmed is punctual, reliable and a very good communicator. We are very happy.

My son in year 12 started having Physics lessons with Ahmed a month ago, and straight from the first lesson we could see Ahmed is an amazing tutor. He can explain clearly complicated topics and makes sure my son understood everything. He really cares about him and is doing above and beyond any other tutor I met. Ahmed sends my son exercises during the week and is available to answer any question he has.
I’m glad my son started having lessons in the beginning of the year and I know Ahmed will push him towards the A* he can achieve.

Ahmed is an excellent tutor. He tailors the lessons to the child’s need. He researches and prepares very carefully for each lesson. He teaches both my children who have very different personalities and Ahmed manages to engage with them both and make the lessons fun! Really good tutor, explains things very thoroughly and uses real and practical example to demonstrate mathematical concepts. I sit in on the lessons and I can see my 10 year old daughter is really benefiting from his tutoring. Would highly recommend Ahmed.

Ahmed is an excellent teacher and we are happy to find him at the right time for our son's GCSE preparation. He is well prepared in advance for the lessons. Gets enough material to practice throughout the week. He is a happy, calm and cheerful demeanour. My son finds his teaching techniques and explanations easy to comprehend. His concepts have got cleared in each and every class.
And the icing on the cake is that he is always ready to give/ spend extra time if required. He is not in a hurry with a timer ticking at the back (which is the case with many teachers I have come across). Always would have a thumbs up for him.

Ahmed is passionate about Maths and is very generous taking extra time to explain concepts so that my son could grasp better understanding. Shame that my son does not think he is right for him

Ahmed is always very responsive and professional. He comes to lessons prepared with relevant practice papers for my daughter and he takes time to review her work to identify weaknesses and knowledge gaps. He explains concepts using various examples and analogies to try and help my daughter understand the topics better. I am pleased to have chosen him from the site and am feeling quite positive about the teaching sessions and the impact on my daughter's progress - fingers crossed this will help her get a good grade in May!

Alin is an outstanding tutor, he has helped me tremendously with many sections in physics that I have found very difficult to get my head around. He uses many unique teaching techniques to help me understand the work.

Alin has proved to be a motivating and attentive tutor and my son, who is studying for his GCSE Maths, is making good progress. Alin sets clear targets and my son enjoys working with him.

This arrangement did not work out, not because the skill, technical experience and dedication of Dr were not excellent, but because, in the arbitary way these things work, there wasn't, our son felt, quite the right rapport in his case for really good understanding. These things are mysterious and we much appreciated Alin's perseverance with our son well beyond his hour at no extra cost and availability to discuss problems with the maths by email and text when needed out of hours.

Alin is helping my son with Further Maths A level. We are very pleased with his tutorials. His subject knowledge is excellent and he is prompt and well prepared. His explanations are clear and he provides the right balance of support and encouragement as well as good revision materials.

Although I have only had a couple sessions with him, Alin has been a huge help, solidifying my understanding of both mathematics and physics. Alin ensures not to leave any valid information out including the minor details needed. I enjoy the session and they really are worth it.

Alin is punctual and has a genuine passion and an in-depth knowledge for the subjects he tutors. My daughters has said she feels more confident after Alin's one to one maths tutorial.
