My son has received online A level Classical Civilisation tution from Alex for about a month. The difference his lessons have made to my son have been remarkable. He has helped him understand how to articulate his ideas and arguments in a chronological and structured order. Alex is very knowledgeable on this subject and a great teacher, My son is really enjoying his lessons and looking forward to the ones he has left before he sits his exam. Alex is a truly exceptional tutor. He is both highly knowledgeable and adaptable and my daughter is receiving a genuinely well rounded education under his patient guidance. Primarily focused on the subject of literature, Alex delves into the rich philosophical, historical and political contexts and skilfully brings each extract and poem to life. Alex's weekly sessions have ignited a passion in my daughter and she looks forward each week to their lively discussions which are centred around a selection of texts.

After getting a not so favourable result in History mock exams, it knocked my daughter’s confidence by a lot. So, I suggested to get a tutor to help her get that confidence back. It is not nice seeing your child going through this pressure and stress so you do what you can to help. We searched together and read reviews and in the end my daughter chose Alex. One thing with my daughter, if she doesn’t get on with a teacher or not learning or progressing, she will soon let me know and stop the sessions. We started with 5 sessions, and renewed for another 5, which will take her up to her A levels. She is back to her good self to the point she got two commendations in history in the last month. She is happy and so am I. Thank you Alex. As a parent I am very grateful for all you do to help our child.

Alex saved me from an essay crisis! I was in dire need of help right before class and Alexander swooped in to provide an in-depth walkthrough lesson; he went through the key talking points, concepts and historiography in a well-structured and concise way that anyone could understand… even me! He was very courteous and professional the entire time, I'm very impressed and I can't wait for our lessons in the future.

Alexander had tutor my daughter for her Classical Studies A Level. In 2 months he manage to strengthened her command of Level 4 grading criteria, from Level 3. My daughter struggled with essay writing. Although she had acquired the necessary material data to answer the questions it was still difficult for her to put them in good structure and fully focus on the the question with clear arguments. Working with Alexander help her to grasp the skills to improve her writing. We recommend Alexander skills for those who need to improve their writing skills. My daughter will continue to collaborate with him for History A Level aiming for a Level 5 grading criteria

Fantastic tutor who has the ability to turn essay corrections around very quickly.
