Hello my name is Alex and I have been a chemistry and science teacher for over 10 years. I have tutored hundreds of students and I have helped them go to the universities of their choosing. I am friendly and reliable and I always get good results for my students.

My favourite aspect of being in education is working with the students and helping them overcome any difficulties they might have.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy outdoor activities as well as cooking.

Tutoring Experience

After completing my degree in education over 10 years ago I have lots of classroom experience and during this time I have also been tutoring students. I have a degree in chemistry making this my specialist subject teaching it at IBDP as well as A-level. I also have experience to teaching biology and physics at GCSE.

Tutoring Approach

My main teaching methodology is to encourage students into believing they can learn chemistry. Learning becomes a lot more successful when you have the confidence that you can understand the subject. This is achieved by ensure the student-teacher relationship is a positive one.
