As an avid tennis player my main passions revolve predominantly around health, fitness and sports. I also enjoy conversing in Spanish, listening to music/podcasts and socialising.
Tutoring Experience
As a former Etonian and House Captain my teaching experience has involved mentoring younger students, assisting with well-being (providing mental and physical health advice), and teaching new academic concepts to younger students. I am also a Level 2 Lawn Tennis Association coach and have taught all age groups from groups of 6 year-olds to a 96 year-old.
Tutoring Approach
From previous experience, the most effective teaching method that I have found is to adopt a hands-on, pragmatic approach. This involves utilising past examination papers and targeted questions to tackle specific areas of weaknesses or novel concepts. Any problems that are identified can then be delved into more deeply, with the aid of detailed explanations and visual aids.
