Tutoring Experience

I have privately tutored A-Level Economics for a 1 year and I am proud to have the privilege of helping students to achieve their aspired grades (A*-B). I always ensure that economic tutoring lessons are engaging and personalised; going the extra mile to ensure they succeed (including gathering statistics used for application, marking practice essays and creating revision resources).

My other extra-curricular experiences also help me become a more well-rounded tutor; volunteering at my local youth club for the past 8 years has bolstered my communication skills, and also having been a leader of debate society increased my affinity to create complex arguments and high-level answers which helps my students achieve those top marks. Both of these roles also require patience and time-management skills which both play major factors into my success as a tutor.
Overall, I know my experiences and skills can help students achieve top grades.

Tutoring Approach

Just finishing my A-Levels in 2023, I feel I will be able to provide a fresh perspective on how to navigate and study economics from student's point of view.
Exam technique is a major focus of my lessons and is what I believe to be the most effective method of achieving the highest of grades. After all, students are tested on their application of their knowledge via exam technique.

Ensuring lessons are tailored to each and every student makes it very easy for students to be able to gain a greater understanding of the subject and achieving those aspired grades. Economics requires such a wide range of contextual knowledge in order to achieve the top grades and this is something I bring in to each and every one of my lessons.
